If this has been answered before i am sorry. Anyway I am trying to flash my liteon 83850c. I have used jungleflasher to get the key to my drive. In all the tutorials I have read, to use the lo83 button, it goes half open, all the way open, half open, then all the way again. When I did it it only did half open, then all the way open then it had me save the dummy, key, etc. First, is that giving me the correct info, and if it is, what are the next steps I take? I have a via 6307 chip and two sata ports inside my tower. My second question is which of the two do I use? One is a white hookup, and the other is a black hookup. In some of the tutorials I have read it also says to dump the key to make sure it is legit and I have no idea what that means. I just dont want to mess my xbox drive up. Which is the best version of jungleflasher for my drive? And what version of ixtreme do I use? Lke the subject says, I am an idiot so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if someone could put the links to where I can get everything I need, once again, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help in advanced.

Thank you for the quick response. Im not sure what you mean by send the erase and flash. If I am just a lost cause, you can tell me and I can try reading more tutorials. But if you are willing to help I need it. Thanks again!
Yea i have read every tutorial that i could find. My problem is my drive shows up in dosflash, only not as a via port. It shows up as an ideata duel channel. I have a via vt6307 card and I have two sata ports on the inside of my tower. I can dump the key fine. Then I can get to the point where it says to erase the liteon drive, and it does. However when I go to open dosflash again, I hit yes and it just searches. And in the bottom right it has the status 0x51 or 52 I cant remember. It just never finds what it is supposed to. When the message pops up again, it says to unplug and plug in the drive again, so I do it, then hit yes. And once again it just does not find what it needs to. I can not get back to the point where I can pick the port, then start writing. It just looks and looks. I am using the console to power on and off, by pulling the power cord out from the console from the drive. I am assuming I just need another sata card or something. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks
when it starts searching you have to unplug and plug the drive when it starts searching then it will find it, you cannot wait until it is done searching and then power cycle the drive. as soon as it says searching unplug the power then plug it right back up, best to unplug from the back of the drive and not the xbox if that is what you are using to power it on, if you unplug the xbox you will have to plug it back and turn it on before it is done searching.
I will try and unplug it from the drive. I dont unplug the power cord to the xbox, I would unplug the power cord that connects the drive to the xbox. So just to make sure I understand correct, after I dump the key, and erase the liteon drive, I close out of dosflash. Then when I open dosflash again, I hit yes, unplug the power cord from the back of the drive, then plug it right back in. Do i need to have the drive half open or anything when I unplug the power cord from the back of the drive? Does it matter if after I erase the drive and close out of dosflash if the xbox turns off and on because it seems like it will only stay on for about 5 minutes? And my last question, and thank you again for helping me, is does the drive return 0x51 in the bottom right matter?
