Hello all, I am going to start flashing LiteOn Drives this month and I have a couple of questions about it. What is the hardware I need specific to Flashing a LiteOn drive? Can I get a link for the most recent LiteOn flashing tutorial? Can all LiteOn drives be flashed using this hardware and tutorial? I thank you very much and your help would be most appreciated!

Here is a tutorial for dumping full LiteOn firmware
That tutorial is using the Xtractor Pro + Vampire. If you search around, you can make your own homemade probe also. Or you can solder to the drive (you'll need a switch and a 22 ohm resistor). There is also the LT switch, which also requires soldering.

Where can I find the Xtractor Pro?
Also if I have the Xtractor Pro and The Vampire does that mean I wont have to use the LT Switch Hardware or any other hardware?

The trace repair pen is mandatory, otherwise you would have to solder to repair the traces. The multimeter isn't necessary but it helps you troubleshoot if you run into issues.

Another Noob question, do I need to make any cuts in the VIA Chipset boar, or do I just do all the cuts and tracing on the DVD Board?
