I am able to install the games to my hard drive, but after i click y it does not give me the option to play game from hard drive, it just says play game. Is this now the standard and is it playing from the hard drive or have i lost that capability?

yep, mine is the exact same. And I know for sure that my systems are NOT banned. I have 2 systems, 1 modded, 1 not, and it says the same thing on both. I just installed a game the other night, and could swear i still hear the drive spinning. Both my systems are updated to 9199
My flashed box is on 9199, and at one time it didn't show the "Y" button option. But once the game was launched, it ran from the HDD (DVD drive cover cut out, I can see the disc). Now the "Y" option is there. It simply says "Game Options". Click it, and the next screen has three options: Play Game / Downloads / Delete Game. No matter where you launch the game from, it'll run from the HDD (if installed).
