I haven't done anything with a 360 since I did my Samsung with 1.6 when it first came out. A friend of mine bought a system w/ a Hitachi drive in it. I did my research and was about to attempt the flash. Unlugged my xbox power cable, moved it over by my pc and hooked his system up. When I turned his system on, it red-ringed. So I grabbed my 360 off my entertainment rack and hooked it up and now it's red-ringed. Is it possible that there's something wrong with my power brick from moving it over to my pc?! I'm out of ideas, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

on my xbox it's weird. The right 2 light up, then the left 2, and repeat. On my friends system, all 4 light up at the same time.

What's weird is yesterday they both worked fine. This didn't happen until I moved my power brick. Very odd.

Do you have the AV cable plugged in? 4 red lights indicate that there is no AV cable in NON HDMI machines.

I have had this happen with a faulty power brick before. I tused to make every console I plugged it into Red Ring. The Red Rings went away as soon as I used a good power brick.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

no I didn't have the cable plugged in! and they are both non-HDMI units as well. I'll give it a shot!
