For quite some time now I've been playing my games from usb back-up. Lately my Kinect games have stopped working; asking for a system update.

I know that 12625 System Update is floating around, I was wondering if it's safe to update using a jump-drive without major risk to the jtag?

Are you serious? You don't update a JTAG with Microsoft's official update. You use Freeboot. I can't believe that I'm actually pissed off about that question.

Aw c'mon infam0us I worked my ass off, dumping the nand over and over with the lpt port method and bought two nand readers online. None of them worked.

Then when I thought I had it, the damn thing went red ring and wouldn't start.

It was about two months worth of work. If you look on my profile you'll probably see extensive posts about it.

Well I'm sure if I controled the speed of ground mail I could have made the nand readers show up quicker, and if I hadn't had moved in the middle of that two months that could have sped things up.

Also I suppose if I got better support I would have been able to get it together quicker.

Did it take you a long time to get things together when you were a noob Modking30?
