Someone told me yes but not the 64bit version....what if I use Vista Ultimate 64bit version?

I'm sure what they meant was PortIO doesn't support 64bit OS. So you can't use JF to flash. You can use DosFlash64 to read and flash BenQ/Samsung and dump Lite-ON keys. From there you can use JF to prepare your firmware.

As for Hitachis, one method you could do is boot Slax and get the drive in Mode B. From there, Windows will have the drive recognized and you could use JF to read and flash.
