there is no unflashable lite-on. MS brought a new firmware version out, but it can still be flashed with some hex editing of the key.

Do you have the 74850C firmware revision or the 83850C firmware revision?

Do you have the 74850C firmware revision or the 83850C firmware revision?
actually right now im not sure but i am sure it is a lite on , so if u can point me in the right direction on how to hex edit if its the new lite on , because i already know how to flash lite ons just not how to hex edit the new firmware ones.

no im saying it is a LITE-ON, But i dont know what firmware it is. and right now im 2 lazy 2 open the xbox and check.I just wanna know how to hex edit the key or what ever the guy above mentioned, so that when i do flash my lite on i know how to flash it if its the new lite on (btw im waiting on ck3 and probe thts why i havent flashed my lite on yet)

Load your dummy bin in source.
Load ix1.6 for Lite-ON in target.
Hit spoof source to target.
If that doesn't work, then you can worry about figuring out how to hex edit.

Please look at the top of the DVD drive. 74850C firmware revision was the first which nobody had problems with. The 83850C firmware was the 2nd firmware revision which a small amount of people had trouble with.
