I've just been given a console by a friend who obviously has more money than sense as it hasn't cost me a penny. It has the old dashboard on which says D:2.0.6717.0 K:2.0.6717.0
Can this be J-tagged? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply.I think i'll leave it to an expert as i know these consoles are as rare as rocking horse S**t and don't want to mess it up.I wouldn't know where to start and the tutorials look a little too advanced compared to where i am i currently.
You could run an external or internal (laptop HDD). I myself run a 500GB western digital internal. I just took apart an old 20GB HDD and replaced it with the 500. Formatted it with the jtag'd 360, and I believe it shows 461GB free. It works just fine. I'm sure there are many different variations of ways to do storage. Do whatever you feel comfortable with, and of course take advice from the very wise members here.
