I have an Xbox360 with a "BenQ DVD drive" and i wasted to know if i could use a SATA to USB cable tc hook the hard drive to my PC...my PC does not have sata ports. my chipset is "Intel GL40"

No, you can only use a sata to usb cable with lite-on's and hitachi's. You will need to buy a via 6421 sata PCI card.
