im a newbie here and just got in video games about a year ago. i love first person shooter, i had a ps2 and liked many games, but got sick of the AI on team games like navy seals, it was lame. i would give orders via the menu and the team members would just stand there. i got rid of the ps2 for that reason. i havent bought a system yet, but leaning towards a xbox 360. can anyone help. are the games better. i dont play online. console only. is the AI better in xbox or xbox 360. whats the difference between xbox and xbox 360. i dont care so much about graphics, i care about play quality. if you ever played navy seals socom on ps2 than you will know about the lame AI of your so-called teamates. i need the info, thanks
An AI is going to be more of a dependent on the developers of the game, not so much the system itself. Older games can have good ai while newer ones can have a poor one but the xbox 360 has the most powerful processor of the 3 which should in most cases mean the 360 would have the best AI because it has more resources available for the developers to make use of
Yeah I agree if you buying a console go with the 360 it has way more games to choose from and a next gen game is far superior than those ps2 games. The gameplay on most newer consoles are always more smoother than the older consoles.
You say you wont play live but i almost promise that you will try the free month that comes with the xbox 360. Also 360 is the future so yea i would def say buy the 360.

Artificial intelligence is programmed by the people who make the games. It is not about raw processing power but the quality of the games that people develop. Socom is a game known as an online game rather than a single player game. It is a game based on technology of the past so I don't know what your expectations are.
There is no better ai than a human player so your expectations are somewhat vague in my opinion.
