Has this happened to anyone? Yesterday my internet company sent me a security issus saying that activision contacted them saying I was file sharing the game call of duty modern warfare 2, so my isp shut me down until I called and talked to them.

Usually it is a 3 strike policy. Have you downloaded CoD and been sharing it through a torrent?

Yes I did download it and now since burned to dvd, I erased it off of my computer.

I use newsgroups without SSL but as soon as I download and burn I transfer to an external HDD. I dont share anything and I dont use torrents.

You do know as you download from a torrent, you are uploading at the same time, right?? So its a good chance they could have flagged you even before your download finished.
