I just flashed my 360 drive with the firmware toolbox, everything went through fine. I did this because I thought that my old flash on the drive might be outdated because I tried playing Mass Effect 2 and it would come up as play DVD. After I did the flash, I am having the same issue. Am I burning it wrong? I got the iso off of TPB, tried a different game and got the same results. I am using ImgBurn, if I select the dvd file it only labeled as DVD_ROM

What brand of DVD drive do you have and what version of IX did you flash it with ?

Hitachi 78, burned from my computer with a regular lg dl burner. Don't know what IX is, sorry

I think he's refering to what ixtreme firmware you used to flash it with.
The latest for Hitachi is 1.51
Not sure if it's safe to go on Xbox Live with this firmware though.
I've got the same Hitachi drive and haven't had a problem although I don't go on Live

You would either have to ask the person who flashed it for you or dump the firmware from the drive yourself.

For wave 3 and above games (most recent games), you will need iExtreme 1.51.
