ix 161 unofficial release??

I just downloaded ix1.61 for BenQ from xbins and was about to flash my drive until i read the txt file that came with it. At the very bottom of the text file it says

"Note for unofficial releases:

It is highly recommended that you do not flash unverified or unofficial releases. We often do not implement specific
security features in beta firmwares that are neccessary precaution's to help keep everyone as safe as possible on Xbox Live."

After reading that i hesitated, i haven't really read anywhere else saying that this release of 161 is an unofficial release. Does anyone know if this one is the final release, or is there going to be a final release, or is it safe to install and use this one??

dont worry the xbins version is fine. that was for another version that was floating around the web.

If you are using Jungle Flasher v0.1.67, when you load the ix 1.61 BenQ bin, it will run a MD5 hash and tell you if it is genuine or not.
