You mean rip wave 4 games? You can still rip them but you need to wait for ABGX360 version 1.0.2 that will allow wave 4 to be recognized. You will still need to use the activation disk if you have Samsung, BenQ or Lite-ON. If you have a Hitachi with IX 1.51, play away. Or wait for IX 1.61.

yes what they have done is great, I will have to wait until the firmware patch..as I pay for someone to flash it for me. I don't have the tool to get the xbox 360 open. At least I can play dragon age on the pc if I want:)

go buy a pair of tweezers then reak one leg off and thats what i use to get the 360 case off, not some fancy internet bought tool :P
unless you mean the screw driver bit for the screws, then a torx something or other will work.....torx 10? i think? you can get it at any hardware store

Got Tekken 6 today and its a wave 4 game i have ixtreme 1.5 can i still use the wave 3 patcher or is it out of date just wanna play it offline anyways. or can anybody confirm that wave 3 patcher dosent work and were to get an wave 4 patcher

Hey kinda similar question to above.
I have iExtreme 1.51 installed. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me :
1) What is the difference when i go to burn/play one of these games, lets say Tekken? (I did not originally flash my drive, but do burn my own games after checking them with agbx? etc)
2) Will i need new firmware to play Call Of Duty when it comes out next month? do i need to upgrade already?
3) As i have 1.51iExtreme, does that tell which Drive i have or can all drives have that firmware?

If you have a BenQ, Lite-ON, or Samsung with iXtreme 1.51, you can NOT play Wave 4 games. If you have a Hitachi with iXtreme 1.51, you CAN play wave 4 games.
In order to play wave 4 games on a BenQ, Lite-ON, or Samsung, you must have iXtreme 1.6 flashed and enable One Shot Boot Mode with the activate disc.
Or, wait for IX 1.61 which is coming soon.

okay I have read that 1.61 is out now, my question is should I wait for 1.7. I wonder how long it will take and what the big difference will be.

There might not even be 1.7 - not any time soon anyway. People were speculating that 1.61 would just remove the video partition check as a temporary fix, then 1.7 would have strict compliance with waves 1-4, but 1.61 has strict compliance with waves 1-4 so 1.7 isn't needed unless it contains further improvements that we don't know about.

Sammy version is coming....no ETA as of yet but the Team Jungle twitter page says its coming...be patient :)
