I know that with jtag xbox, xbox live is emulated allowing you to play on online without paying for xbox gold. Does this mean that I will be playing with people on the xbox live network for example a friend with nonmodded xbox or will I be restricted to playing only with people with jtagged xbox's on a private network for jtag only? Also how would I know if there is a dashboard update that stops certain games from working. Does dashboard update appear as if you didn't have your xbox modded or is there some other warning system?

Jtags are detectable get banned very quickly if they connect to live. They can on the other hand remove the ping limit for system link games allowing you to system link on networks like xlink kai.
You can't get regular system updates on a jtag you have to create a freeboot image and flash it to the nand with something like jtag tool. There is usually a new freeboot for new dashboard versions so you have to wait for it to be released after the update comes out.

Im considering jtagging my xboxx but The only game I truly care about online is blackops zombies. Can anyone confirm if a lot of people play this game on xlink Kai?

Xbox live is not emulated. You can however use XLink Kai (or other "tunnel" software) to system-link with other Xbox 360s (modded or stock).

I understand Xbox live is emulated using xlink Kai but my question is, is there a large community of people who play blackops online using the xlink Kai network?

If you still play BlackOps online by now chances are you cannot Jtag your Xbox 360, so it really doesn't matter if there are a lot of people playing that game through tunnel software.
Answer eebeejay's question if you want to know.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

But I can jtag my xbox using the reset glitch hack with xecuter nandx and xecuter coolrunner. Isn't this correct?
and I'm using dashboard 2.0.13599.0

Yes you can RGE. Mostly all 360 consoles can RGE.
Hint: You don't (as you said) "jtag my xbox using the reset glitch hack".
The JTAG Exploit and the Rest Glitch Exploit are two totally different ways to accomplish the same thing, which is to run unsigned/unauthorized code shch as Emulators, Freestyle Dashboard, DLC, etc.
Another hint: JTAGging and Reset Glitching are only step 1 to the process. They only exploit your console. Step 2 is to put the unsigned code on the the NAND in order to boot an alternative to Microshit's dashboard.

Ok so then here is my next question. If I used the Reset Glitch Exploit and played black ops online using the xlink kai network. Will I find a lot of people playing black ops online or will I only find maybe one or two people?

I don't use Kai so I couldn't tell you.
You could set up Kai now and see for yourself.
As I said before, Kai works with all boxes, modded or not.

You better we search & see what comments there are regarding xlink if xbox live is anything to go by,somth'n bout people inside walls etc or floating in the sky & mention of virus infection to glitch or somth'n,not to be confused with a windows like virus
