Ok, so my jtag is completed and working. It boots into XBR reboot and everything. But I have a strange problem.

So to protect my solder joints, I put hot glue globs on them right? Well I had to solder to ft1u2 instead of db1t1 or whatever because that point got messed up.

So now here's my problem. When I put it in the cage, it works. But when I tighten down any screws on that side of the motherboard (the hard drive side) it no longer works. It'll go to e79, get really loud, then get 2 red lights.

But when I remove those screws, it works. But the fan is still really loud. Is that normal?

Not normal behavior for jtag. More than likely a bad/loose connection. When you put the system back together the wire might be pulled away from the motherboard to cause the issues. I had a similar problem. I found an alternate point for that connection over on xboxhacker,
http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?PHPS...g98413#msg98413
,that solved the problem. You also have to watch for shorting out the wire that goes to spot by the rf board.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier.

Anyways, I fixed it. The problem was that a wire was getting jammed between the cage and the mobo, causing a bad connection. So I utilized another point, and bam, it worked.

Thanks
