Just wondering as I have been searching for a while now and seem to be getting more confused as the days go on. I have a 8955 xbox360 and a lot of people say it won't work and yet a friend of mine says it will leading me to be more confused by some topics scattred around the net. I think it is down to the recent updates that is causing the problem for me.

What I want to know in a simple yes and no answer is, Will this work JTAG/XBR hack work with my 8955 360?

No.
Maybe you are getting confused because of how it works.

You have to have a pre 8955 dash with and exploitable cd/cd, get this by dumping your nand.

If you have an exploitable system you can then flash a hacked 8955 dashboard with your config and kv data from the nand dump.

So jtag'd systems are running a hacked 8955 dash but you have to have a pre-8955 to start with because MS blocked the exploit in that update.
