Okay i have been at this for about 3 hours and am getting tired of it....i have an esata port on my laptop..its a pavilion dv7. Now the esata recognizes a little laptop hard drive i have when i plug it in but not an xbox dvd drive. The only difference when hooking them up is i have a connectivity kit hooked up to a external enclosure power supply...it ejects the drive. When I had the laptop hard drive hooked up i dont use the connectivity kit..just a molex to sata power cable. Is that the problem..? is there not enough power to the drive for the computer to recognize it? again the drive ejects but windows does not say there is a drive and low and behold jungle flasher does not either, although i am not sure if jungle flasher recognize the eSata port in general.. The jungle flasher im using it 0.1.75 beta...can someone shed some light on this as to what to do maybe? do I really need to go get a PCMCIA card?
