I just got it today and just opened my xbox and now I find out I need some thing called CK3? I ABSOLUTELY need that?
What firmware version do you have of the Lite-ON?
74850C = Probe
83850C = No probe
I have 74850C. Where can I buy whatever else I need? Thanks for your help.

You probably doing this on a 83850C Lite-ON. Can you confirm the firmware revision?

Leerage - great tutorial quick question regarding spoofing another drive. I have extracted the key and autoload iXtreme firmware LiteOn Repack. Per your recommendation I would like to spoof another DVD drive to make sure I have the correct key. I have a spare Samsung MS28 drive. I swapped out the Lite On and put the Samsung Drive on the Connectivity Kit. I downloaded samsung Ixetreme 1.6. Could you please advise if I follow the same MTK Flash 32 procedures in your Tut? What do I do with the samsung Ixtreme 1.6 file? Do I spoof it with the DVD key which should allow the Samsung to play originals and then follow a Samsung Tutorial to allow back ups to be played? Sorry for the multiple questions but I just wanted to follow your recommendation on verifying a "good" DVD key extraction.

I would also like to spoof my liteon (this way if something ever happens I have the original untouched drive to go back to). What drive do you recomend spoofing to? Another liteon or benq or other? Thanks again.

If the Samsung is a stock MS28, just click Sammy Unlock. If it is flashed or it is a MS25, click Intro/Device ID (may have to power cycle). From there, load you dummy bin in to source and IX 1.6 for Samsung into target. Click spoof source to target and flash the firmware. Then test out in your console.

If you are doing it just to test it out, get a BenQ. If you are testing it out and if it works and you want to go on Live, get the same Lite-ON same firmware revision.

Thanks for the awesome lite-on 74850c Flash Tutorial. Best on the internet! I first tried to flash on XP with Intel CH10 chipset and no luck. But I tried another computer, Vista with Intel CH8 I believe, and worked great. Had to rebuild serial, but not a big deal. THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL AND SUPPORT!!
