Hi, new here not sure if this is in the rite place..
So my problem is Junleflasher doesn't detect my BenQ drive..I have "F2'ed" at start up and the computer seems to read the drive fine but when i open Jungleflasher and check to ports it finds noting..
Info you may/may not need
Windows XP
Intel(R) ICH8R/DO/DH SATA RAID Controllers
BenQ Drive VAD6038
FW ver 64930C
Using the xbox not CK3 or whatever it is
Any help would be great..
Thanks in advance..Smile

hi
have you read the jungle flasher pdf doc thoroughly? it may be your onboard sata set not allowing JF to recognise the drive, have you tried a second sata port on the mobo? does JF pick up your PC DVD roms or HDD's?

hi again,
yeah i understand that a raid array isn't great for using JF, my options for raid settings are all in the bios of the PC and are quite easy to reset if needed. I think if you can change that setting you will be there or there abouts :)

yeah you can try that, without knowing the bios manufacturer its impossible to know how to apply the settings you need :) you could always ask in the PC section of AD, they are just as helpfull as the people here lol.....

Could be that you dont have a compatible chipset, I have a intel one on my P4 that doesn work. I use a Via Sata 6421a card.

get the via 6421 Sata card, you don?t need a connectivity kit for the benQ but it does make is easier for any future flashing I just installed the blaster CK3 took about an hour to fit. I followed the Jungle flasher tutorial and also found a tutorial on youTube? using both tut?s it took about 5 minutes to flash
