Hey guys.

So I'm just now getting around to updating to 1.6 Ixtreme FW for my samsung drive. And I'm having some extreme issues.
So here's the problem. I load up jungleflasher and go to the MTK Flash and Hit the Read button. It comes back with Status 0x51. Then I do the "tray half open trick" and then it says "Status Invalid 0x0"

So what am I doing wrong here guys? Another good easy way to do this? (i hate iprep)

So for more info.

I'm not using the VIA chipset adapter thing. Cause my computer sees the xbox drive and sees the FW on the drive. So I figured I dont need it. Right?

Lets se what other info could I add? :)

Leave the tray closed.
Click Intro/Device ID.
Click OK on the pop-up box.
Power cycle the drive (Unplug power to drive and then plug back in within 1 second).
Should get status 0x72.
Read firmware.

Just tried that a couple mins ago. Didnt work.
Do you think I should try a VIA chipset? My friend has one but iunno if it'll help...

oh and btw, I'm using the power connector kit. So I dont have to use the xbox to power the drive.

Sooo no other thoughts?

SO I figure my chipset isn't compatible. And my friend VIA card hangs my system. So Imma just try a couple friends computers.

Unless anyone has some suggestions?
