Sent a box it and got this drive back. That sucks. Any idea how close they are?

The firmware team has got a lot of stuff on their plate right now. The hack for the 83850C was released way to soon. As soon as Microsoft found out about it, they patched the hole. If the firmware team is even able to figure this one out, they will probably wait months so the market is saturated with these drives.

Plus they've got to make a new iXtreme to allow strict Wave 4 stealth checking. I'm guessing sometime next year we will see a new firmware.
