Well this is kind of weird. I've burned 20 Verbatim DVD+R DL's without ever getting an error. Yesterday my friend gave me 18 of them that he bought from best buy. The only problem is I'm not sure if they are made in singapore or not because he threw away the cover.
So I tried to burn a couple of games and kept getting this error. I got this error AFTER the game was burned and when it was being verified. "Failed to Read Sector 1592556 - Reason: Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32)"
The thing is though, even though I got the error, the game still worked... so does that mean like it will mess up randomly in middle or something? (I dont care about stealth or anything).
I tried uninstalling the IDEATA stuff from device manager. I tried and updated DVDfirmware to latest version. I've always burned them at 2.4x. The last 2 errors I got were at 2.4x so, I'm now trying to burn at 4x speed maybe it will work....
i really dont think if its made in singapore is the problem it just might be your burner,they do tend to burn out,try it at 4 x,sometimes i get i/o errors but its just my cable lose
