I alway use 360 waves patcher to convert wave4 game to wave2,it worked well. I just got my sensor and downloaded a kinect game,its unknow wave this time. what kind of wave is kinect game?anyone successfully played kinect game with 360 waves patcher or abgx360 yet? really appreciated with any comments~

I have read that converting the games to Wave 3 will work- I'm not sure about Wave 2...
If your drive's firmware cannot do Wave 3 then just upgrade that crap or have somebody do it for you.

It worked as wave2 game on my 1.4 firmware console,muhaha great~

I have 1.61 and patch to wave 4. Then i just burn the iso. I dont create a dvd file with abgx. worked for me.

I Have a sammy ms25 drive spoofed as a lite-on 7 series using sammy ixtreme LT v1.0. I am using abgx 1.0.3 with all the new wave .iso files in the stealthfiles folder of abgx. So far i have backed up kinect sports and dance central using imgburn and they work just fine on my console. Abgx says they are wave 8 or 9.

What patcher are you guys using? Everyone using 360 wave patcher?

I think you only have to patch them when you are using the benq or lite-on drives. I didn't wave patch any files.

So if i patch it to wave 3 it will play on my hitachi 79?I dont want to get ap2.5 ban offline

If your hitachi has 1.5.1 it should just boot all games anyway. It doesn't support ap2.5 so it should boot

You probably run more of a risk by patching the wave to another wave but who cares anyways. You little daredevil you. Patch away. If what is being said about the hitachi and sammy drives is true, then modking is right, it should boot all discs on ix 1.5.1 and not be susceptble to ap2.5.You shouldn't need to patch it. Just know that at some point or another 360's will be banned. Be ready and prepared. Otherwise, it's always buyer beware. I use the term loosely.

I have a IE 1.4 sammy drive 360, I have tried to change wave to wave 2, but no luck.
Would I need to get this upgraded to 1.6 and convert to wave 4 to play kinect games?

Hey guys i have a problem,i patch it to wave 3 and the game show up but now it ask to update.So i select yes but it give me a dirty disc.Is that because i change the wave or it wont work on my drive?

Yea i install the kinect and it was working,but now i made the frist back up of fighter uncage and now the kinect needs a update its staying.So u think i shouldnt patch it

i haven't updated to new dash yet because i want to be able to play fable 3 but i also want to play kinect games soon. if i update the dash, i have to patch all my games with abgx360? what wave do they need to be at? also how do i check what FW and what kinda drive i have?

I have SAMSUNG drive with LT flashed on it. Also have the updated dash.
I burnt a game using osx360... and it boots the ubisoft logo and then white screen?
Also ran abgx before... what am i doing wrong?

Gray626, I have a sammy spooked as a liteon with fw 1.5 or 1.51 (don't remeber any more) as well, so do I just update it to the LT v1 and that's it? So you don't downgrade to a lower wave any more? Right now I'm coverting the games to wave 3 but I haven't tried kinect games yet.

Yes, LT v1.0 for the sammy spoofed as liteon and you should be fine. I didn't have to downgrade waves at all with the sammy drive even when it was spoofed as a liteon. Just beware if you play online.
