Kreon firmware for Samsung SH-S222A ?

Hey all

I saw a video on youtube and found some other writings about the samsung SH-S222A burner.

Supposedly at one time you could buy them on e-bay already flashed with one of the Kreon firmwares to rip 360 disc's, and then obviously use the same drive to burn the backups.

However, i can find no information on which Kreon firmware was used to flash this drive.

Anyone know anything about this or where to find the info on which firmware to use ?

If it is a burner, I would say no. Kreon firmware is for DVD-ROM drives. There is a list of compatible drives in the Ultimate Sticky.

Okay, now i found out the 2 morons that were talking about this drive, they were high or something and totally confused in what they were writing and saying.

They were talking about buying a kreon dvd-rom drive AND this burner together but they made it sound like they were using the same drive to burn and rip!!

I already have a SH-D163B but when i came across this info i thought it would be cool to have both in the same drive.

Oh well....

It sure sounds like he is talking about one drive but then he seems like he is talking about two units.
Man, youtube sure is a dumping ground for morons!!

I found one other reference to this drive ripping 360 games but it is more vague then his video.
