Can I get any drive to replace my lite-on drive. I am going to get a BenQ drive since they are so easy to flash apparently. Is there any where where I could get a drive already flashed? thanks

Just pay to get your lite on flashed or learn how to do it yourself.

Just pay to get your lite on flashed or learn how to do it yourself.
You need to dump the firmware off the liteon first anyway which is half the battle, moten is correct, just stick with yor liteon

My drive is totally broken. Wont work. Cant get firmware on or off it. no responce. Tried both DOS and jungleflasher. I had done it once before successfully with 1.6. But nothing coming out of it now. Can I not just get a new drive?

You are OK changing to a benq then, open your OFW as source and benq LT1.1 as target, spoof source to taget and you are good to go :O)

So NO "BenQ Un-Lock" and "read"? Just start up straight at FirmwareTool 32>Load source Firmware (OFW)>Open target firmware>Spoof. MTK Flash>Write and Im done, hypothetically?

Ok, so got the BenQ drive. Its FW is 64930C. Im just going to fire this up. Any advice? I´m using my old firmware to replace my lite-on drive.
