Lite on Freezes and shows RROD after repair

Ok so I have a elite with a bad lite-on 83850c v2 drive and I tried to flash it using a home made probe. I was able to get it into vendor mode but every time I read I forgot to remove the resistor from the board and got the parsh error but every time I tried to read the board when the resistor wasnt on it the jungle flasher would freeze. I wasnt able to get it back into vendor mode either after a couple attemps and when i went to repair it I got the RROD on my console and has the center light flashing still. Any clue to y jungle flasher would freeze like that and if I can still fix my console. I got the key while the resistor was on the board but i dont belive that it will work.

If you used solder, it may be excess solder on the board. clean it up with a desoldering braid. Then try your repair again.

the parse failed / usually a message you get when you leave the button down into mra mode on the ck3 probe 2 not a good dump, when you let the button up it doesn't do that, i understand your not using the ck3 but maybe the info will help in what you need to do, i would buy the probe if i were you, doesn't cost that much.
