Man THis is a bummer, I have tried restart the process and the (liteon)drive does not respond. Any ideas I know leerage was helping me out, Any one out there? HEEEELP!

Now that you removed the VIA driver, re-send the Lite-ON erase and power cycle when prompted.

The drive will act like it doesn't work because it has no firmware on it. Connect it back up to the same SATA port. Re-send the Lite-ON erase and power cycle.
