Liteon 1.5 to BenQ 1.6

right now i have a Liteon with 1.51 mod and want to put a to put a BenQ drive that i have in the xbox so i can upgrade it to 1.6. I dont have the tool to get the code off of the stock lite on, do i still need the tool to get the code off the LiteOn or can i just pull the file off of it like you can with a BenQ

Well 1.6 isn't even current. LT 1.1 is. You need the tool and soldering skills to do this. Dump the firmware and then spoof to the BenQ.
