Liteon 1.6 and Wave 4

Anyone having any success with Wave 4 releases on the Liteon (74850C) with Ixtreme 1.6

There seems to be huge problems with the disc unreadable error on the above hardware and firmware combo.

All originial games and Wave 3 games working flawlessly.

Wave 4 releases - Lips, Lego Rock Band, COD MW2 etc work briefly before the inevitable 'Disc Unreadable error'. It is widely reported that this happens no matter what media is used (Verbatims from Singapore, Ritek, Memorex etc etc etc)

Some believe it may be the 12x dvd speeds in the firmware causing problems with over sensitive Liteon drives.

Any other suggestions or should we hope the 1.61 for the Liteon sorts this problem?
