Hi,
I had my liteon drive flashed a few weeks before the dash update and now need to get the L+ done (another load of cash...damn).
Anyway a couple of questions....
When he did it he said he forgot to save the drive key...does this matter? He said it didnt as he could always dump it from the drive again...is this true and if so is it an issue?

My next question is more to do with doing the flashing myself.
How much am I looking at spending on the gear to be able to flash my own xbox?
The reason I ask its its £30 a pop and I dont want to have to get it done again.....if only I had waiting a month I would have got the LT+ instead...oh well!

the traces will have to be undone, be it glue, ink, or solder, mra method is the only way to reflash the drive. i'm not sure what the going price is over there, but the hardware in US dollars would cost you around 60, if you are not handy with a soldering iron, i would recommend paying someone.

Thanks....so to update to LT+ he is gonna have to do a bit of work?
