Do not continue flashing. You need to try to dump the key again. What are you using? Probe, spear, or homemade?
Also, what firmware revision is the Lite-ON? On the label on the top of the drive in the right hand corner will tell you.
Try using Jungle Flasher to dump the key.

Are you using a serial connection with the probe or USB?

Not for sure why exactly. There is drivers for WinXP and Vista so you need to have the right one for your OS. Always install the driver before running JF.

Is there a COM4? Try it if there is.
Also, is your Lite-ON being detected? PLDS DG-16D2S?

I am pretty sure COM4 is the one you want. When you look at the drive properties in the lower left hand corner, what does it say?

The screen shot looks good. When you go to probe the R707, is the probe lighting up green?

Not sure about using your motherboard SATA ports. I always use a VIA 6241. Could possibly be that or you're not probing r707 right.

Correct, and a question, what colour does the LED have to be on the CK3 itself, mine is blue atm.

Turn it to red (modeB off), since you're not using a Hitachi. Doubt that will help you though. If all else fails, order a PCI SATA card with a VIA 6241 chipset.
