I haven't done it yet, but I hate the clips. I have bent the crap out of mine so PMT is on the list. I'll try and get it done this week and add pics.

Sweet, I love my Lizard, well both of them for that matter. I dont mind the clips I have the little claw ones and they tend to hold pretty good imo. But this stand alone sounds awesome, sometimes making space for my laptop and the system tends to be troublesome.

One time I spent nearly 30 minutes just trying to get one of those clips to stay on. I ended up having my wife hold it there while I pressed buttons.

This is such an impressive device... I have had zero issues with my lizard. Can't wait to see how this thing evolves.

I am not so impressed on the waiting and the clips. PMT will help improve that but there will always be a waiting time when new FW releases

I've done 10 or so consoles (I've had my lizard for about 2 weeks) and I haven't had any problems with the little claw grabbers...they've been working well for me so far. Are people having problems with the clamp types...claw types...or both? Recommend one over the other?...I may just buy an extra pair just in case until PMT is hammered down.
"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

My problem is with the claw, I think what it is, is that the spring in the claw has too much tension thus pulling back and slipping itself off. It's easy to get the other claw to hook under the little leg, but getting the other to hook on a smooth lump of solder is something else.
