Alright, So i got this 360 off ebay(reason is why im here) lol. Stated orignal dvd drive, just trouble reading games, found the PCB board to be swapped with a hacked fw ix1.5 (drive is a benQ) the key read all 7's so i know it was teh stock hacked fw. After contacting teh guy no respounce, im guessing my chances of him having the actual orignal fw is rare or even just the dvd key which i need. Kernel 8498, dont wanna update to 8995 just incase there happens to be a loop hole in this dash(highly unlikly but hoping) so i know that since i am with this kernel i supposidly cant do the jtag hack and achieve my kv then i take it? or is it at least possible to get the kv just not use a rebooter... some insite would be nice, i would do more reasearch just been so busy to look. any links or info leading to someting would highly be appricated.. thx

I believe that keyvault access may still be a possibility in later dashboards, and I hope so, but I am not completely sure. It's a question I would also like a definitive answer to.
