Hi guys, here's my situation. I have two xbox 360 consoles, 1 banned and another clean one. I was wondering if it is possible to copy my gamer profile to a USB drive from my clean console over to my banned console to play my saved games. The only problem is that I can only "move" the profile, not copy it because I still want to use it on my clean console. Thanks.

get a microsoft transfer cable and hook the main HD up to your PC and use xplorer360 to extract your partition 3 to your desktop and then transfer it back to your extra HD.

Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME

ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

Is there any other method other than this?

None that I'm aware of. Possibly with a USB drive in the future? wabashman is very wise in these parts. If you have access to a data migration cable, then this is the only known solution for what you're trying to accomplish AFAIK.

I'm pretty sure you can do it with a usb drive as you are now allowed to use usb as storage.

Move your profile to a USB drive. Plug it into a PC. Download and run Xtaf (a program similar to xplorer360 except for USB devices). Copy your profile onto your desktop (or anywhere). Plug your USB drive back into your Xbox and move the profile back to your hard drive. Then plug it back into your PC and copy the profile back onto it.

thats assuming both consoles are running 9199. if they arent, that method wont work. if you dont have access to the MS transfer cable, then you can always just take apart the HD caddy and hook it directly to your PC and do the same process that way.
