hi i am using a boot disc to play my xbox 360 games. however, mass effect 2 requires a few disc swaps. can i just exit to the dashboard and insert disc 2 after inserting the boot disc again when i reach the disc swap point?

Do you mean the Activate iso (boot disk)

Yeah that's what it is. You shouldn't need to put it in when it asks for the second disk, just pop the game in.

but the problem is, i tried inserting disc 2 before i started the game and it asked for disc 1. after that i inserted disc 1 but the wrong disc message appeared. i had to exit to the dashboard and put the boot disc into my console again before using disc 1.

u mean if i just install both of the dvds, i can automatically swap them? can i just exit to the dashboard before swapping the discs?

If you install both dvd's it wont ask for the second one.

really? i thought installing the discs only reduce the loading times. some said that u need to swap the dvds when you reach a certain point of the story even after you installed the game?

Well I installed the first disk, got to the part where it asked for the second disk, quit the game, burned the second disk and installed it, then used the second disk to boot the game.
