I ripped a copy of mass effect 2 with wxripper like I have successfully done with many other games. Now I ran it through abgx360 and I get an error with the "failed to find Video_e2fa3a26.iso". It says that the game is wave 6 on the website but it says wave 4 in the gui. I tried to patch it with 360 waves patcher ver 1.2.6 and it says unknown wave.

Ive never patched a game before. I have been just using the activation disk for wave 4 games. is there anything I can do to get this backup working? I would really appreceiate some help.

Am i able to download the Video_e2fa3a26.iso from somewhere?

Have your solved the problem?

Here is the link for the video file you are after...http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VM0F440W

I've tried it but it hasn't worked for me, I'm still getting the same error as you.

If you have backup your copy can you tell me how you did it?

Peace.

I got the copy to work. All i did was go on agx360's website and look at the verified page. All the way to the right you see a number after the name of the game you are trying to copy. click that and you will see the ss and the dmi that you can download. Then in abgx360 you can manually patch those files. the video partition doesn't verify but it still works. as long as everything except the video is green you are good. I don't know if this is good on live i don't play online. You can also go to robinhoodsplayground.com. this is where I found this info, I hope this helps.

As long as all the CRC checks verify and the SS is version 2 (trusted) it is fine for live if you have LT.

If you are ripping games from the original, I reccomend uising XBBC (Xbox Backup Creator) and using the tool to extract the SS/DMI files manually, then injecting them into your ISO image.

@Barman 469

Have you tried burnt your copy?

I got the same error messages as you even after I manually patched my shit and it does not work.

Are you supposed to patch all 4 files? or just the first 2 or the second 2? I'm a little confused.

I got the dmi and the ss from the abgx360 website. There are a couple of places to download the video iso on this forum. manually patch the video iso, the dmi, the ss. I got the pfi from somewhere you need to do a search. I have the files if you want to tell me how to upload them. It works if it is all green except the video partition. I have been using both disks like that. Now that I have the wave 6 video iso all things are in the green. here is the bioshock 2 results

I got bioshock 2 working and what a waste of time that was. It's the shittest game ever made. It's like Fallout 3 but worse. I'm playing on casual and you get group fucked by splicers and it's so much boring exploring. It's so repetative. It's shit and so was the first bioshock. Fuck this!

Question if you don't load the patch in the ISO is the save feature disabled. Because i was about 2hrs into the game and when i pressed start i saw the save icon but it wouldn't highlight it, so my dumbass thought it may have a autosave feature and turned it off and when i tried to play it again the next day i had to start all the way over. So, is the save feature disabled when you don't load the patch?
