im new to gaming why buy an xbox if i can play online, also i tried computer games i hate using the keyboard as a joystick, i just got rid oof my ps2, how does this online gaming work

Online gaming playing is games with people all over the world online. It's basically the same as talking to somebody over the phone, but with a graphic aspect. To connect to xbox live (xbox's version of online gaming) you need to connect your xbox 360 to a broadband connection via an ethernet cable or wireless transmitter. You also need the game you want to play online (assuming it's online enabled) and an xbox live membership.
