Am in big trouble. Walked into living room with tray and accidentally stepped on Benq tray which happened to be open. It hasn't snapped or anything of that sort but I've obviously pressed on something inside. When you use the controller to close it keeps giving you the open option when it's already open!
I've gently tried to close it manually but it's stuck rigid in the open position.
Is there anything else to try with the drive in the console?
If not is there a ready fix with the drive removed?
I've fixed the Benq mechanical problem but just want to flash my ole Hit 79 to LT+ in case we get any more disasters).
Have downloaded latest JF with LT+ for Hit and realise that I have to restore to stock from 1.51) before reflashing with LT+. However I keep getting the cannot open folder message referring to the firmware folder within JF. I've put the original bin folder in there but keep getting the error message. What exactly should be in there?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but there are tutorials for JF.

I think you are saying that you are getting the cannot access error when trying to load the cracked firmware in JF. This is when you load your original key... Then spoof to source, and hit write?? I had this issue as well. I needed to get the latest version of JF, and put all of the firmware in the firmware folder of the version of JF that I was using, before it would work.

Have JF 1.78 which has the LT+ for Hitachi. I eventually got the original fw for my 79 and managed to restore to stock without getting the auto load error message. What I then did was this:
Went back to firmware tool and opened original bin file as source and Hit + for 79 4c30 aas traget and spoofed. Then went back to Hitachi tab and hit flash with LT +. Guess what? Autoload error message confirming that it could not open that LT + file.
I always hit no to the autoload, and in the drive key section, manually load my original, then manually load the CFW. Then spoof and verify that they are showing the same key. Have you tried that? Sounds like it.
I was getting the same cannot access file error on mine before I downloaded the newest JF, but I also had to put all of the CFW's in the Firmware folder of the new version of JF that I was now using, even though I was manually selecting the CFW location.

Just to be clear, you did get the LT+ fw for the Hitachi and you put it in the JF Firmware folder, right? Because JF doesn't automatically come with the firmware.
And if/when you put the LT+ firmware in the Firmware folder, you put just the firmware in and not another folder with LT+ inside the Firmware folder?

Tried JF 1.78 (183) and flash worked fine. Obviously a problem with 1.78 (182).
