First off I have 74850C lite-on 1.6 ixtreme with 2.0.9199 xbox bios. I don't have access to upgrade my firmware, so please don't respond "upgrade to LT". Also, I'm banned on live.
For sh*ts and giggles I patched this wave 11 game to wave 3, booted up in xbox. It got "play dvd" error which i expected. But then I used the old "boot disk iso", took that out, then the game booted with title screen, and even copied game to hd. It then prompted me for the system update.
What should I do?
Can I use that "Install Kinect Adventures Update & Animals Update workaround now to fool the xbox from future updates?
If I do, will my old wave 3 patched games still work?
