I have a modded xbox and a normal xbox that is connected to live and i was wondering since there is an option on the modded xbox to save an actual legit game to the hard drive and play it from there, can you save a game on to a hard drive from a modded xbox then transfer the hard drive to an unmodded xbox and play that game? if so would xbox live work?

if you mean can "can you install a game to the hard drive than transfer that hard drive to another console and play the game off the hard drive on the second console?" than no you cannot
