i need your help out there guys. i have to explain backroung before question.

i have a modded xbox 360 elite. my buddy did all the work so i have no idea what kind of mod it is but it plays burnt games. (only tdu2 now since november update as i was flagged for trying to play other burnt games)oops. i was prompted as of 8 pm est. dec 6 to update. i have NOT updated because my buddy said not to yet.

so my question is can i update as of now so i can atleast play legit games or will it totally destroy my drive? has anybody heard anything with the new update and mod together?

do you know if your original drive is in there or if your spoofed?

no one can really answer this question outside of saying, no dont update as there is always a risk having a modded console plugged into the internet

i would believe it would be the original drive. he hooks the drive up and and does it all that way. i really didnt know having a moddded xbox would be such a hassle. i just want to play my legit games. hypothetically, i did the update, what could or would happen? is there a website that has the tested updates done for people to view? can i find out what type of mod i have through x box settings?

Worst case senario your xbox could get banned. But alot of people got flagged but didnt get banned yet. There is no website to go to check your current firmware. If you still talk to your buddy then why dont you have him flash you back to stock firmware and be done with it?

just talked to him. its a BenQ Lt 2.0 trying to find somebody who has tried it already or knows if its safe?
