im planning on buying a modded xbox 360 with LT ixtreme but i need to know the pros and cons from people who own them (i already own an xbox 360 but its a slim and i refuse to have it modified)

Pros - you can save a ton of money by not having to replace scratched discs

Cons - You can and will eventually be banned from LIVE

I believe he's referring to waiting on dashboard updating until there is new firmware to keep you "safe". Basically, what modking is saying is that you're banning yourself if you don't get on live. If he can get on eventually, then he's banning himself temporarily (could be months or longer). It's always best to have a legit box to get online with.... Especially if you have netflix and pay for Gold.
