i am new to xobx mod. however, i have done extensive resarch before i started. actually, everything went well with flashing with JungleFlasher and ixtreme 1.61 (no error message from JungleFlasher), and i have a benq drive. well, after drive is flashed, it won't load backups. i have used verbatim disks, tried tree different burnt games, none of them loads. after it reads, i got a screen with huge XBOX 360 logo then it just hangs there. i don't know if i have provided enough info. any help is greatly appreciated.
does it play orig. disks?
do you have your dvd key?
if you have your drive key try to flash it again, i have had to flash a few twice before they worked.
sorry, i can't verify that because i don't have an original game. but it does play movie DVD. so, i guess the drive is functional if that's what you want to check.
when i flashed the drive, 1.6 firmware was in the "firmware" folder, and i chose autoload when prompted, so, i didn't manually input any thing before writing. i am not sure what the dvd key is, how can i find it? and how am i gonna use it when flashing. thanks, fudpucker.
you said you read and searched for info. i want to help you but not going to hold your damn hand! start reading some guides on what the hell your doing and yell back when you know what your drive key is.
the fact you dont know what the key is tells me you screwed it up, go buy you a new xbox.
All resolved after a few hours of searching. And you were right, it is the DVD key. Didn't have a clue what it was before, coz like I said, I was flollowing a tutorial step by step. everything was set automatically in JungleFlash.
I had to download a program to detect what my DVD key was, and manually load it in JungleFlasher, and falshed the drive again. everything works fine now. well,,,thanks for the tip.
