Been a while since I posted been away at the Air force for those of you that remember me =P. Just had a question regarding modding on a laptop. I found this http://www.shopmania.com/shopping~online...~p-6497925.html and was wondering if anyone has modded with a laptop. I figured id get a external hard drive case to power the connectivity kit and use the via card bus from that site to hook it up. If anyone could throw a suggestion my way id appreciate it.

There have been a few posts on this recentlt, the general consensus AFAIK is that you would need to get a PCMCIA sata card with the VIA 6421 chipset and that should do the job.
