Heres my dilemma. I have a via6421 card but I think its broke. It doesnt work right anymore. In dos it just sits at status 0xd1. I turn on off, pull sata cable out, etc. Sits at d1 and doesnt even jump around.
The ich10 just keeps going d1 and 51. occasionally 80 when plugging power back in. I give up in dos.
I go to win7 64bit. jungleflasher like usual doesnt see a damn thing.
Dosflash64 sees it and offers to send the intro. same as dos dosflash, bounces between d1 and 51.
What kind of options do i have?
I tried booting to my xp 32bit install and whaddya know, keeps hanging.

Where does it keep hanging in the 32bit windows? You might need to try another power connector if you're using CK3, otherwise it has to do with the sata port. Make sure it is a master port, it always got stuck with me if it wasn't master.

that 32xp is kind of fragged.
I was trying to get ahci to work on it, which I did. but now it only loads ahci. and sometimes explorer doesnt even come on with it.
And its a fresh install, nothing installed to it.
Im expecting my win7 disc in the mail this week, so Im gonna reinstall that and put another clean non ahci xp in there again as well.
