Hi guys, i made a homemade probe and reader yesterday, out of an npn transistor 1k resistor 10k resistor ect..

and basically my +5v from molex accidently touched the XBOX CHASSIS.
this made a spark and my PC SHUT OFF. the xbox is perfectly fine. and now when i turn my pc on i hear the XP sounds and stuff but there is nothing on the monitor. this is onboard graphics, not a graphics card.

Any help will be appreciated!

Does anything show on the monitor? No signal or just a completely blank screen?

Might be better off posting this in the PC section.
