I got someone's Xbox 360 to mod and when I tried to flash the hitachi it somehow got bricked. Is there any sort of reliable fix that I can do (mod chip, wire trick) to get the key out or should I just I send it somewhere to get reprogrammed. I tried the chillifix but now I'm not too sure about it considering the diagram looks completely different.
If anyone can reprogram my drive, I'll give them $30 and I just want the .bin filed emailed. You can toss the drive in the trash since the guy I'm modding this xbox 360 already bought a BenQ so I could put on LT.

did you get the drive key before you bricked? also, you cant put a benq in a hitachi xbox and make it a benq xbox-you can put the benq in and make it a hitachi. i think you/youre friend have misunderstood spoofing.

Nope didn't even get the chance to get the key. I don't care about the drive...hitachi's are a poor excuse for a drive and I tell everyone who gives me an Xbox to go ahead and buy themselves a Benq. Alas, I wasn't even able to connect the hitachi at all...it was completely dead. When I connected it to my CK3 for the first time the damn thing wouldn't even eject.
Sounds like you're out of luck unless your dash is pre-NXE. Even then, you would have to JTAG your console to get the dvd key. If you still have your hitachi, it may be salvageable. If you want me to try to salvage it (no guarantees), send me a PM.
