I am so new that i'm not sure if flashing allows me to play backups...Also which method is the easiest to get backups onto Dual layer and play?

I've read that JungleFlasher is what I should be following

Do I start out by connecting a sata cable into my dvd drive and into the VIA pci sata card....would into my motherboard work? Do i power up my xbox as well?

First off is it a must to get that VIA PCI sata card? and where do I get the jungleflasher firmware pack?(how to install?)

Next, how do I check whether I have a MS25 or MS28? If I have MS25, I move straight to the "reading firmware section" ?

I can just use the MS28 stock method if i have MS28 and ignore the "Xtreme->iXtreme1.4unlock using activate.iso" method correct?

Now what I'm not sure about is the "patching key into hacked firmware"

Do I need something like iXtreme or what not? 1.6 latest? Auto-load firmware....then i write it?
