Need help with Detecting XBOX drive on PC

I am trying to upgrade a samsung tsh943 m28 model from 1.4x firmware to 1.6x.

I have the samsung drive powered on and connected to my PC through a SATA card (VT6421). The PC has detected the SATA card just fine, but does not see the Samsung drive that is connected to the Serial ATA card.

My PC's MotherBoard is an Intel D975XBX2KR. I am running 2 Hard Drives on this computer both are SATA drives. They are plugged into SATA 0 and SATA 1 on the mother board.

What could be the problem ?? I have deleted all VIA drivers that were in /windows/system32/drivers.

PLEASE HELP !

If you're trying to use jungleflasher use the portio32 drivers. Windows doesnt have to detect the drive when using portio32 but JF will

also, use 1.61. this way you dont have to use the activate.iso every time.

Well I did do the install of portIO32 allready. And yes I am using JungleFasher. Bt when I load JF and click on the MTK32 tab I dont see my samsung drive on any port's ??? Help ! :O)

install Via 6421a (Do not install RAID feature)
after you install that you need to make the pci have the yellow icon, i think you do it by unable the pci when you see it under drives management.

I did that already also , but how do I tell it not to use RAID during install ?

2 check box when you installing, dont check the 2nd box from the top down
